It is a space filled with movement, social exchange, meeting and conversation.

The entrance to Laughing Peanut is located on the first floor of the NC Corporation building and the entrance hall is designed to be semi-open, providing a variety of spatial cognitive experiences depending on movement and light changes.

Main entrance / Parent waiting area

Located on the first floor of the NC Corporation building, the entrance to the nursery school is where a day starts with children’s bright laughter. Parent waiting area located next to the entrance is furnished with books related to children and pictures from activities that children participate in as members of Laughing Peanut.

The outer walls and grill partitions of our administration office contribute to creating the open atmosphere on the first floor with semi-open design, while providing a variety of spatial cognitive experiences depending on a viewpoint, movement and light changes.

The sub-entrance with the motif of characters from children’s storybooks is where children’s energetic footsteps to the outdoor playground can be heard.

Shoe racks and grill partitions

The atypical hexahedral shape offers an exciting stereoscopic experience. It has a two-tiered shoe storage structure to store various types of shoes such as sneakers, boots and so on. Also, it helps children find their designated shoe cubbies by applying age-specific color systems. We have added semi-open grill partitions to distinguish the area from the childcare area.
